“Inspiring coaches to collaborate and grow the coaching community

This event is a means to bring club cricket coaches together in one place at the same time to network, learn and share knowledge, experience and skills for the ultimate benefit of the kids they coach.

The plan is to run a series of workshops facilitated by subject matter experts where the aim is to enable all attendees to participate in discussion and take away their own individual set of actions that they can implement in their coaching setting. In addition, there will be practical hands-on coaching sessions delivered indoors which means overall each attendee will get 6 hours of invaluable coaching personal development from the day in addition to the benefit of it being an in person in situ event as opposed to online/virtual.

Our venue is Cheadle Hulme School on the outskirts of Manchester so this programme will also raise coaches’ awareness of others’ facilities and encourage cross-fertilisation of ideas of successful venue management.

The event is principally for recreational club coaches who deliver coaching to the largest number of junior cricketers up and down the country and for coaches in the independent sector who provide added value.

The reason for this event is to broaden the reach of the Cricket Coach 365 community where the underpinning objective is to encourage coaches to share best practice, share how they deal with the innumerable challenges they face each week and share ideas of how they go about continually striving to learn and improve so that the kids they coach continue to look forward to their next session or match and stay in the game for as long as possible.
